The Steinklang Records tribute to Koki Tano (MSBR) is now online. It is a massive 10-CD free compilation, featuring 151 noise and experimental artists from 31 countries, including Dan Menche, Emil Beaulieau, Telepherique and collaborations between MSBR and Mr. Natural (as part of Blazen y Sharp) and myself. I’m guessing download times will be very slow for a while, but if you’re into experimental/noise music, this will be very worth the wait.

I jsut learned of Koji Tano’s passing today my birthday. I’m very glad that I met Koji, he helped me set up a micro tour in Japan in 2000 in Maibashi and Tokyo. I actually met him through the net and hooked him up a gig here in London ON with the Nihilist Spasm Band. Thanks for assembling the recording.
