This week it’s an array of tracks found via the newly reorganized Ableton Live user forum. As you probably know, Live is one of my two main production environments here at Shabby Road, and every episode of the podcast to date has been mixed with this wonderful piece of software.
When I first read the product announcement for version 1 in Keyboard Magazine that included some off the wall description of it being a sequencer that played like an instrument, I knew I was going to love this piece of software. Shortly thereafter, I picked up a copy and have been a Live advocate ever since. It really has done more to open up my creativity than any other tool I own.
So, while we’re all working on the public beta test for version 5.2, I decided to finally go through some music that other Live users are posting and found a slew of great tracks, which I mixed up for this week’s listening enjoyment.
