The audio system has a pair of real speakers (SL, SR) and three virtual speakers (SC, SLS, SRS) that are set around a listener (Z). The listener can enter offset parameters (LD) using a hand held unit and relating to a screen. The system processor then determines the virtual speaker locations so that the listener is positioned at the sound sweet spot.
