Natural Prep and More Sewage

Spent a good evening with Mr. Natural, getting some stuff lined up before he goes on his world tour. Final graphics transfers, itinerary knowledge, registering glkweb.com (give it a couple of days) and making some very special plans for his stopover between Japan and the US leg of the tour… More info soon, so keep an eye out.

In the meantime, some new Treatment Plant tracks have come our way! First, we have another track from James Jandt called Doubly Treated Raw Sewage and two dark, winding trips through the pipes from kirchenkampf: Wasteoid and New Age Sew Age. Check them out!

New Treatments…

I’m pleased to announce that there are two new tracks available now at The Treatment Plant. I’d like to welcome 4th Sign of the Apocalypse and James Jandt to our list of purifiers… Go check them out and let them know what you think of their purification skills. To them (and especially to 4th Sign) I’d like to apologise for the delay in getting these tracks up. To everyone else, I’d like to encourage you all to continue downloading the sources (because I know that you are) and send us your tracks!

First Post goes to…

ADAMISGOD for being the first to provide their take on The Treatment Plant. Crazy, mashed-up schitzophrenic type stuff. Make sure to check it out.

Get the hang of Thursday…

Because I shore haven’t. Recouperating today after two days of great gigs and very little sleep… The quick recap - Angle of View show rocks solid, meet the 404noise crew for Atlanta action, Logickal last-minutes his way into improv oblivion for a brief meetup with Jhonn Balance in the lobby of an imaginary alien nightclub… more after the break.

Logickal - Sewage Treatment

As promised, in celebration of Valentine’s Day, the first installment of Treatment Plant reworkings is now online in the form of Sewage Treatment by Logickal. It’s more minimal/abstract than most of the other Logickal material - but that’s not a bad thing. Those that want to support Discrec and Offnominal - keep your eyes open for an affordable “hardcopy” CD release in March.

In the meantime, download away and remember- This musick is also available for use in your own tracks for the project… Who loves ya, baby?

The Treatment Plant goes online…

Okay, everyone. Offnominal/Discrec’s first online collaborative project has now gone online. Called The Treatment Plant, it is a freeform excercise in ‘Net moderated remixing and collaboration. The original sources and the guidelines/rules are available now at The Treatment Plant homepage. Be on the lookout for Logickal’s first take on these sources, Sewage Treatment on Valentine’s Day. If you have any questions about the project or wish to submit a track for inclusion, please email sewage@offnominal.com. More discussion, background and rules follow the break….
